Thank you, John for reporting this. đŸ™‚ I visited Myers this evening (5-6:30pm) 
and the woodpecker was still there, calling actively and flying around the 
trees right where you describe it.

Subject: [cayugabirds-l] Red-headed Woodpecker at Myers

Stuart Krasnoff and I found one adult Red-headed Woodpecker around 12:30 today 
calling and working on enlarging a hole about 50 ft up in a dead trunk of a 
tree facing the private marina at Myers.  Here’s my ebird report with some 
photos and description of location, and with Stuart’s audio recording of calls.
