Lots of birds today at the feeders and birdbath for drinks of water
up here on West Hill in Ithaca.
Up to a dozen Bluebirds and the usual suspects ( Chicadees, Titmice,
Woodpeckers, Juncos, Mourning Doves, etc.) as well as the Carolina
Wren dining on suet.
The Flicker is looks impressive when
Ann Mitchell and I took a ride around Summerhill this afternoon to
look for SNOW BUNTINGS. We found one flock of about 40 birds on Salt Rd.
and another group of 7 HORNED LARKS. We saw one RAVEN in the woods by
Salt/Dresser Rd. intersection.
The State woods were very quiet, no gee whiz bird
Hi Meena,
When I was going to PT a couple years ago, there was a young woman
there who lived in Trumansburg. She claimed to see a Bobcat regularly
on her property. If memory serves me. she had a horse farm with quite
a few acres of land. Diana Whiting
