I looked rather carefully for birds around the pavilion dock area at Stewart Park on Tuesday morning. I didn’t find yesterday’s cuckoo, but I did see at least one, probably two CAPE MAY WARBLERS and a TENNESSEE WARBLER with many Yellow-rumped Warblers, a few Ruby-crowned Kinglets, and a PURPLE

Just after running into Mark Chao on his way out of Stewart Park I tried unsuccessfully to find the warbler flock by the aluminum dock mid park. I did, however, see a cuckoo, presumably the YBCU from yesterday, moving around in the 3rd willow east of the dock around 0920 AM. Stuart --

Sorry for late post but I was walking to frog barn this am when a large bird jumped up From ground to 12' branch,. On trail between parking area gate and fb. Thought Cooper's hawk, stopped, crept forward to find baow staring back w big black eyes Jumped in truck and drove here to VA Beach,
