I'm drawing a blank, unless of course it _was_ a Towhee. They have a number of
song types, and I suppose juvenile males will soon be practicing the local
repertoire, if they haven't already started...
Such great butterfly weather! In the last few days my old fashioned purple
I just saw one as I was driving down Seneca Street by Titus Avenue at 4:25.

I agree with Geo about the great butterfly weather. Around our yard in the
past 2 days there have been Aphrodite, tiger swallowtail, silver-spotted
skipper, Monarch, and of course the cabbage whites. Also, goodly numbers of
wasps and hornets.
