Hi Cayugabirders,
On a walk along Long Point Road a couple of weeks ago, I came across numerous
Eastern Red Cedar branches chopped down by, presumably, the Aurora roads dept
to clear the roadside and left in place. The branches were loaded with berries
so I filled the back of my car with as man
Female type black Scoter just north of Warren W Clute park. Also an early
Common GoldenEye

Hi again folks,
Well I managed to sneak up on the thrush and get a few photos this afternoon,
and after discussion with Jay McG I'm going to change my ID to Hermit Thrush.
A nice bird anyway, and cool to see it feeding on the cedar berries. Hope it
sticks around a few more days.
