Hello All,
Just a friendly reminder that the Cayuga Bird Club will be working on our
habitat improvement project down at Lighthouse Point on both Friday
(tomorrow) and Saturday mornings from about 9am to noon.
Tomorrow, up to 35 students from the New Roots Charter School will be
coming out to
Yesterday I biked from my home near Cass Park in Ithaca to Taughannock Falls
State Park. I used the Black Diamond Trail which is conveniently direct and
safe from motor traffic, and goes through a variety of habitats past nice views
and many lovely waterfalls of various sizes. It climbs from
Bird of Prey Days this weekend near Rochester, more information below.
Moderate south winds in this weekend's forecast might make for decent hawk
migration, with air temps getting warm and not so "BBRR" :-).

6 Turkey Vultures were waddling around my back yard when something spooked
them. Now they are perched in trees over yard.
This seems to be an occasional phenom. here on Lansing Station Rd, as neighbors
report the same sightings now & then.
