Monday night there was a green heron foraging in reeds in the lower reaches
of Salmon Creek at Myers Point.

Caught a nice boat ride today before the clouds rolled in. Saw 3+ bald
eagles - one on a crag on the cliffs below Bolton Point, a likely one flying
at the same location maybe an immature bird, another in a crag below Lansing
Station, and another in the bay just above Millikan. The latter gave us
Had a nice look at a Northern Shrike on Yaple Road power lines near the
Comfort Road end about 3:45 pm.

Cluster of seven Ruddy Turnstones on the spit at Myers Park at 11:15 am.
Scattered when bothered by a ring-billed gull but then reformed into a
tight pod facing the wind. Also a flight of a fifteen or so peeps flitting
around. Guess I'll have to do the shorebird ID course (again).
