There have been people over the years that have left their hummingbird
feeders up well into the Fall and have helped straggler Ruby-throated and
even other rarity hummingbirds. Into November, it is occasional for extreme
wandering of species, and hummingbird feeders left up can provide crucial
aid
The reason that species are blocked and hidden as "sensitive" in eBird
could be from a multitude of reasons. In terms of the Gyrfalcon, it is a
bird at risk for capture and trade by falconers. Exposing the location of
such a prized species through public records could spell trouble for the
bird.
Robert Buckert and I just observed the Montezuma Glossy Ibis in flight over
the Eagle Sculpture Area, heading away from Wildlife Drive due northwest
towards Tschache Pool. Not too fast but direct flight.

Robert Buckert and I currently have four Wilson's Phalaropes (three males
and one female) among many Least Sandpipers and Semipalmated Plovers and
lesser numbers of Dunlin, Solitary Sandpipers, Lesser Yellowlegs, and
Pectoral Sandpipers.
