Hi,
Yesterday while I was posting about c. wrens. a brown creeper
was moving up and down the tree out side my window. It was my
foy brown creeper. cool bird.

I saw a Brown Creeper singing today..on Connecticut Hill Road. The song
didn't seem (sounded like it was coming from
another direction )to be coming from the bird I was watching but finally I
saw his beak moving as I heard the song. It hardly stopped foraging to

I seldom see Brown Creepers here, so it was a real treat to watch one working
its way around on the old winter pear tree north of the house about 4 this
afternoon.

Those of you on the east side of the lake may pooh-pooh this report because you
see BROWN CREEPERS all the time. But in ten years on the west side , today is
the first time we have seen one. It was working up and down a big maple in our
side yard in mid-afternoon today. The tree has a suet fe
