On Saturday afternoon at about 2:10 PM, from the new housing development at 400 Spencer Road in Ithaca, I heard what I think was a singing CERULEAN WARBLER up the slope (along lower Stone Quarry Road). I couldn’t confirm this bird by sight (no binoculars, didn’t even try). But I do feel that Cerulean is the most likely ID, despite its local rarity and potential for confusion with other singers.
