Enjoyed the sunshine this afternoon as I walked along the trail. It helped with the chill in the air.
Saw Hooded, Common and Red-breasted Mergansers, numerous Bufflehead, one pie-billed grebe. Checked out the Eagle nest at the far end of the lake to discover it's occupied by an Eagle. This is the nest they used last year, near the red barn which you can see from the fishing dock (handicapped). Was hoping for a changing of the guard, but no luck.
