Hi all,

Yesterday I saw 8 Northern Flickers foraging together on the grass here on 
Hungerford Rd. in Ithaca.  Perhaps it's typical for Flickers to congregate like 
this as fall approaches, but this is the most I've ever seen at one time.  It's 
possible there were a few more in nearby trees.


Also, there was a small flock of warblers, including Magnolia and 
Chestnut-sided, on the East Trail in Sapsucker Woods today.
