Mid-afternoon yesterday, it became apparent that there was a substantial push of Broad-winged Hawks and other raptors. I had stepped outside and immediately observed two small kettles of swirling Broad-wings overhead. Unfortunately, I didn’t have much time to spend looking skyward.
