In Sapsucker Woods/Woodleton Boardwalk area, yesterday 5/12/16. I heard at
least 3 GREAT CRESTED FLYCATCHERS all around me and saw one a few times.
Then while looking for Barred Owls on woods part of Wilson Trail, no owls, but
I found 2 WOOD THRUSHES on the ground, for good looks, as well as HAIRY
woodpeckers and a mystery (to me) warbler or vireo type bird just overhead in
the lower canopy; it seemed similar to a Worm Eating Warbler with a stripey
head, which I did not think should be in that habitat.
Maybe it was a Red Eyed Vireo?
