On Friday morning in Sapsucker Woods (~8:50 AM), I saw six GREAT EGRETS fly in together from the east, pass over the Sherwood Platform, and then continue out to the west. Later I heard a COMMON YELLOWTHROAT singing near the road along the mulched spur that leads to the power lines and the Hoyt-Pileated Trail. Yesterday I found at least five western PALM WARBLERS loosely together along the Wilson Trail North (others found at least one of the eastern race), but today I found only one or two.
