I skied on South Ithaca Recreation Way and the highlight was a croaking raven that flew over my head at about 0.5 miles marker from Burns road. I also heard a pair of Bluebirds calling from somewhere near 1.0 mile marker. I encountered usual chickadees and nuthatches only when I approached closer to the houses aka bird feeders. Woods were devoid of birds.
