For most of the winter I only rarely have had a Tree Sparrow at my feeder, and
then only one at a time. In the last 3 days I have had several, reaching 15 at
a time today.
I have a rat infestation around the feeders. Yesterday I say the rear end of a
raptor leaving my door step with a rat and
In our various patches of acres on Hile School Rd, mixed with juncos,
white-throated sparrows, robins, etc.
These are the first I have seen this fall. They are looking very bright and
beautiful.

Maybe it's the sudden snow or maybe it's the everything mix I get from
Pine Tree Farms in Interlaken, but finally this morning we had TREE SPARROWS

Of all the birds seen today while walking the dog around our place, the most
surprising were 3 Tree Sparrows. Is it really that late in the season? A
Towhee is still calling in our woods, and still some White-crowns are hanging
out.
