I've found pictures on-line with squirrels, primarily grays, looking like the one I have at my feeders. The*Notodric* mange supposedly is squirrel specific & doesn't seem to cause the misery that Sarcoptic mange does in other animals. Depending on health of the squirrel & if it can survive the winter weather, they can recover!
This squirrel is not a bit concerned about me trying to chase it from the "squirrel-proof" feeders. I think squirrels & pigs should be in the same class.
