This morning (26 Jan) there have been two text RBA reports of WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILLS in Summerhill State Forest, Town of Summerhill, in the southeast corner of Cayuga County. First at 9:16 Bob McGuire reported 12 of them fly over him and 2 land near him along Hoag St and at 10:50 Richard Tkachuck

With the approach of snow/rain for this afternoon, I elected to get in a walk along Salt Road this morning. I encountered numerous chickadees Red-breasted Nuthatches, more than any other day this winter. At the corner of Salt Hoag at about 9:15 I had several birds fly over, calling like
