Yes, you read that correctly: a male Yellow-rumped Warbler delicately picking
at the suet block after a Downy Woodpecker had left. I guess there aren't many

We took an evening stroll at Sapsucker Woods this evening.
Aside from the deafening but delighfful spring peepers which were our
reason to go, highlights were 2 phoebes, one yellow-rumped warbler, one
very busy beaver and two huge turtles trolling in the shallowy mud. It is
beautiful there.
This morning there is a yellow rump warbler feeding over our pond on Hunt Hill
Road in Dryden

Yesterday my yard was alive with birds twittering and flying
everywhere! It actually felt like a warm spring day. When looking
out a window, I discovered I had a Yellow-rumped Warbler, so I went
