upstream from huge tree fall lying in water.

Yes, you read that correctly: a male Yellow-rumped Warbler delicately picking
at the suet block after a Downy Woodpecker had left. I guess there aren't many
insects around...

We took an evening stroll at Sapsucker Woods this evening.
Aside from the deafening but delighfful spring peepers which were our
reason to go, highlights were 2 phoebes, one yellow-rumped warbler, one
very busy beaver and two huge turtles trolling in the shallowy mud. It is
beautiful there.
This morning there is a yellow rump warbler feeding over our pond on Hunt Hill
Road in Dryden
