The ibis was seen Friday morning during Larue and Jackie's twice-a-week survey.

Thanks for the report, Jay. I know that Larue does not count every
day. Was the Ibis seen today (Saturday)?

I just got the report from the volunteer counters at Montezuma NWR
(Larue St. Clair and Jackie Bakker). The report continuing good
numbers of shorebirds at Knox-Marsellus and Puddler marshes off
Towpath and East roads (Seneca County), including nearly 1000 peeps,
several hundred yellowlegs, dowitchers, and Pectoral Sandpipers.
Additionally, they observed a GLOSSY IBIS at Puddler Marsh, the
second impoundment back on Towpath Road (off Mays Point Road north
of the canal.)
