Hi, Job Title: Sr. Quality Engineer Location: St. Paul MN Duration: 6+ Months/Contract *Interview: Phone and Skype* *No H1B(OPT will be fine)* *Must have Bachelor Degree in **Mechanical Engineer or Chemical Engineer or Biomedical Engineer**.* *Qualifications * • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Strong problem solving, technical writing and organizational skills. • Must have the ability to read/interpret design prints. • Working knowledge of FDA GMP and ISO 13485 requirements. • Knowledge of statistics and quality tools such as SPC, Risk Analysis, Process Capability, DOE, TQM methods, and Lean/Six-Sigma. • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Project applications. • Display a solid technical understanding of engineering principles and procedures. • Preferred; Sterilization and Process Validation experience. • Preferred; ASQ Certification in Quality Engineering. • Preferred; Previous Quality System auditing experience. Education and/or Experience • BS degree in engineering or related field of science. ASQ CQE certification required if 4 year degree is not in engineering. • 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing Quality, Design Assurance, or Quality System. • Has supported new product development project in quality role. • Preferred; BS in Mechanical Engineering • Preferred; Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing. • Preferred; Experience with biological products and/ or chemical processing. *Physical Demands* Sitting/standing for 8 hours/day. Light lifting may be required on occasion. Ability to work under a microscope.
