Hi, Currently, I am recruiting candidates for one of my requirement as mentioned below. *Job Title* Cloud Engineer/DevOps Engineer *Project Location* Downtown Dallas TX *Duration* 6 months /Contract To Hire * Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI::Telephonic followed by Face 2 Face* *Need USC/GC/EAD-GC Only* We Like to See: - A mild degree of paranoia about Information Security - An obsessive interest in exploring and integrating new technologies - Past experience taming the beast of Hadoop (ideally Hortonworks) - Battle scars from working with tools like CFEngine, SALT, Puppet, etc - Automation experience with Python (Fabric), and/or Bash - Previous experience with ELK, Zabbix, or other Monitoring Tools - Secret knowledge of the inner-workings of MySQL, including optimization and replication - Exposure to other database technologies like Cassandra, CouchDB, or Redis - Mad Skills (or more likely a general familiarity) with Network, Firewall, and F5 Load Balancers, along with the AWS equivalents. What We Need: - 4+ years full-time (or significant experience) as a Linux systems administrator - Previous work in a high-availability, mission-critical environment - Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects - Exposure to AWS, Azure, or other IaaS services - Some familiarity with working in a CoLocation environment. - Desire to and ability to pick up new and bleeding edge technologies. - Clue++ (Not the C++ Library. I mean just have a Clue. Seriously, try to figure it out yourself before you ask someone. We like curiosity!)
