Hi, Currently, I am recruiting candidates for one of my requirement as mentioned below. *Job Title* Sr. Software(Embedded) Engineer *Project Location* Virginia/Herndon *Duration* 9 months /Contract * Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI : Telephonic followed by Skype* *Required Experience: * To qualify for this exciting opportunity, you must possess all of the following qualifications: • Strong problem solving and communications skills • Strong documentation and writing skills • Must be a detail-oriented engineer with technical leadership potential and proven success in a structured development environment, while also working to promote structure and attention to detail within your team • Possess the ability to proactively drive technical solutions in a collaborative environment • Demonstrated experience in developing quality, maintainable, reusable and well written software • Good software design skills using proven and best practice design methodologies & related principles; Strong command of Object Oriented Design and Object Oriented Programming techniques; must have solid working knowledge of UML • Experience in developing accurate and detailed level of effort estimates for budgetary and project planning purposes with the ability to perform to and manage to development commitments • Historical track record of success with the ability and willingness to share information and cross-train subordinates and peers • Hands-on experience developing, designing and testing real-time, multi-threaded and multi-process embedded applications on Linux, with strong working knowledge of C++ • Experience with debug, verification and test of embedded systems with a good understanding of hardware *Experience Qualifications: * 7+ years of experience developing and designing software for networking applications. 3+ years of recent experience in wireless communications systems *Computer Skills Desired: * Strong knowledge of Linux and Linux Kernel. Windows, Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Enterprise Architect or other drawing packages is required.
