Hello,
you have a few options for a solution:
1. Add support for cl6x to ccache (and immediately make ccache generic
for any compiler).
2. Create a wrapper around cl6x to modify the cl6x arguments, so cl6x
receives the '-ppo' argument, while ccache receives the '-E' argument. I
created a small wrapper for the Greenhills compiler a while ago, but it
didn't fully work (since the Greenhills compiler creates a number of
additional files).

Ccache supports gcc arguments. Does cl6x use the same arguments as gcc?
