yep, I think that will be part of the new revitalised ccache project :-)

My apologies for being such a slack maintainer. I think Joel will be a
big improvement!

[ccache] new ccache maintainer

I'm happy to announce that Joel Rosdahl will be taking over as the
ccache maintainer.

I've been far too slack with ccache maintainence lately, and I'm very
happy with the quality of the work that Joel has been doing in his
private branch. I think Joel is the right person to look after ccache
and make sure it continues to develop.

It will take us a few days to update the website and do a few admin
things. For example, Joel will be moving ccache to git (probably
hosted on git.samba.org).

sorry, i didnt mean for it to sound that way.  i wanted to make sure
there was a place for us to start posting patches/etc... that would be
saved until processed.
