Just wondering whether someone else has the same issue that I have come across
and how to resolve it.
Here is the scenario:
sip phone on UCM side calls 1570(aa), which is a call handler on unity
connection, then presses 2 to transfer the call to another phone registered to
UCM,
It's definitely common in production, especially in large enterprise
environments.
Much more common nowadays than it used to be when we actually had to
actually Integrate with AD (i.e. modify the M$ AD Schema) - now all we
have to do is setup Synchronization and optionally Authentication -

feature not testable in the lab?

This doesn't list the 7962s/7965s in the supported devices for IPMA: (I also
checked the 7.1(2) guide)
