IMHO, whenever you are not requested specifically to trust or not-trust, then not-trust is the safest way to go. This way you know you have control of the proper dscp taggings on the WAN links. If you do trust, then you must make sure that all devices are sending proper dscp. Eg: mgcp

Yeap, that range sounds like doable to remember. The trick is that when I have tested it on the lab. Eg: I have tried to use some ACLs to block H245 messages, my H245 packets are always using TCP ports out of that range :S From my practice, the range was more like 11000-65356 !! Will do

if you have local route groups when the user logs in to a phone using EM it will use the LRG of the DP that yo associated to the device. because on the device profile you can't assign a device pool. you can indeed use the line device approach where you allow on the device calling search space
