[OSL | CCIE_Voice] SRST reference necessary?

If I have only SCCP phones, do I still need to configure SRST reference in CUCM? I thought I could just specify the default router as SRST in device pool. Was that correct? Thanks! Greg ___ For more information regarding industry leading CCIE Lab
