Hi Otto, Thanks for the reply i had downgraded the Phone from SCCP 7.7 to SCCP 5.0.3 so it would look for the OS97XX.txt.
I am trying to upgrade the phone to P0S3-07-4-00. I have already followed that bit in the link you posted me in the CUCME guide. The files that came in the zip file are below: 57 592222 Jan 14 2010 17:03:56 P0S3-07-4-00.bin 58 461 Jan 14 2010 17:03:56 P0S3-07-4-00.loads 59 592626 Jan 14 2010 17:04:00 P0S3-07-4-00.sb2 60 129472 Jan 14 2010 17:03:50 P003-07-4-00.bin 61 129876 Jan 14 2010 17:03:52 P003-07-4-00.sbn Im just puzzled why it keeps asking for this file POS3-07-4-00.sbn. When its not even part of the zip or available on CCO. Thanks for the help. Should the case is presented, you will have to configure intl sip dial rules with + dialing in addition to all the other destinations the phone may call, ie, internal, local, national, intl, for the digits to be sent enbloc and avoid interdigit timeout and ultimately hit the \+ pt-pstn route pattern with urgent priority, 2.- Yes, those TP are created to block intl calls from directory 3.- It says that both tp will match but the \+1[2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxxx / pt-nanp-tp TP is a closer match, therefore it's chosen. I agree that the matched tp is not in the pg, however it must exist for all pstn US calls be routed from the directory specially for phones with the intl call restriction, otherwise when these phones call from the directory there will be a match for both the \+! pt-block-international TP and the \+! pt-pstn RP and because the of the resulting css the former will win and the call will not be routed. The css assigned to the \+1[2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxxx / pt-nanp-tp TP should only see the pt-pstn partition in order to hit the \+ pt-pstn route pattern HTH, On Wed, Jan 13, 2010 at 8:35 PM, vccie2010 <vccie2...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hi > > - What are the SIP dial patterns to be configured for Q 2.3 page 53. Please check the following link to see the procedure on how to upgrade phone's sip firmware and whether the current version can be directly upgraded to your desired version, http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/admin/configuration/guid e/cmeinstl.html#wp1067416 The OS79XX.TXT file was the method to tell phone with old image versions which firmware version it should load, so currently this file has the P0S3-07-4-00 text into it, as you will see in the link the upgrade command under voice register global configuration modifies the OS79XX.TXT content with what you configure in the load command, in that way an old SIP firmware phone can be progressively upgraded, HTH, On Thu, Jan 14, 2010 at 8:56 AM, Kevin Hobson <kevin.hobson2...@ntlworld.com > wrote: > Hi, > > I am pulling my hair out trying to upgrade a 7960 phone to SIP in CUCME. > > The problem i have is the phone is requesting a signed image > P0S3-07-4-00.sbn that didn't even come in the zip. > > Debug tftp events below: > > Jan 14 17:22:40.613: TFTP: Looking for OS79XX.TXT > Jan 14 17:22:40.617: TFTP: Opened flash:/OS79XX.TXT, fd 7, size 13 for > process 221 > Jan 14 17:22:40.617: TFTP: Finished flash:/OS79XX.TXT, time 00:00:00 for > process 221 > Jan 14 17:22:45.057: TFTP: Looking for P0S3-07-4-00.sbn > > > > Anyone seen this before? > > Any help appreciated. > > Thanks > > Kev > > -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
