redirected to voicemail of Hq site phones when called from the pstn or br2
site, and i could able to leave a voice mail to the mailbox of the the user,
but strangely no mwi lit up in addition to no voicemail

This is a known issue where the smtp domain has been changed on Unity
Connection.
Use the cli to identify the new old domains...
run cuc dbquery unitydirdb select * from tbl_alias
Then run this procedure to fix, substitute the old new domain
run cuc dbquery unitydirdb EXECUTE PROCEDURE

I set up CUPC in deskphone mode and everything is working fine. Except when I
go to server health on CUPC, I see under Phone Configuration (TFTP): Download
failed.
