I believe either way will give you the same results. I did not assign a
preference to my primary dial peer but I believe this to be a preference.
You can manipulate how the dial peer is used by using the command
Dial-peer hunt ?
This will show you ways to change how your dial peer is picked.
Suresh,
I am not aware of any such solution for CUCM/CUE integration. Live Record works
as follows in CUCM/CUE:
CUE Config: same as for CME/CUE
CUCM Config:
1. Make sure you have a conference bridge (CFB) (HW or SW, depending on need)

Thanks for the valuable replies.
My fault. I didn't mention earlier that I was trying to work on
CUCM-CUC. Not CUCM-CUE or CME-CUE.
I know the CME-CUE live record configuration. I am trying to get the
similar results from CUCM-CUC.
For Live record in UCM, I can't find a softkey/phone
PS. William, is this the only way to live record. If yes, then I already
did that with CUCM-CUC.
I was driven by a thought of similar live record execution (using softkey
in case of) as in CME-CUE.
Thanks

Thanks for
Suresh. I understand. There is no nifty softkey for live record and CUCM/CUC.
From the CUCM perspective, setting up Live Record in CUC is basically the same
as with CUE.

Hi All,
I have an issue where my SIP phones will not dial 4 digits or any other
digit strings immediately, other than the dial strings I have configured

before dialing. What did I miss? How would this function in the real
To my understanding,
If the IP phone supports KPML, it can send digit by digit while dialling.
Otherwise, it will wait for inter-digits timeout unless sip dial rule is
configured.
What kind of phone you are using? And have you restarted both TFTP and the
phone, so that dial plan is
Just to address your question, you can change your second highlighted

mls qos srr-q out cos-m q 2 t 3 3 4 7
and deal the cos 5 accordingly.
If your requirement is to drop some cos packets when related queue reaches
