Hi Friends,

Can you help me on this.

I am using MGCP voice gateway with PRI line. For a time PRI link was down.
The service provider is telling that no PRI down.
but I need to check and confirm on CUCM and Gateway part where I can find
logs(RTMT trace), I mean what message I will see on trace which confirms
that links was down or call was not happening that time.

Hi All

Good day!!!
I am using cucm 7.1.3, we are using mgcp gateway with T1 line.
is it possible that
one DID number 510-240-2333 user for a campaign, which direct to extenion
10001.
suppose one pstn user is calling to this number 510-240-2333, it rings my
ext 10001. it displays user caller id number.
we want to display as name customer marketing on my phone screen 10001.
is it possible?

Hi All,

Good morning!!

my MGCP gateway is registered.
Sh ccm manager is registered.
Isdn status is multiframe established.
Incoming calls are hitting gateway and ringing the Phone

but we are unable to make ouside call.
when we make call outside it does not hit MGCP gateway (debug isdn q931).

Channel in CUCM top-down and in VG  bchan-order is ascending
Phone are having partition of Route-pattern.

Please help me where is the problem

Hi All,

Would you suggest in below scenario.
 We are using Cucm 7.1 with Mgcp gateway at one location.each user is
having DID number.
 When they call outside normally it displays thier DID to called party
device, but  we require to display Company Name with 18 or at
least company name  for a group of users in Hunt Group  not for all
so that when company cutomer call back to this toll free number 188
directly.


Hope I will get better ideas from our group.

Hi All,

We have 2 extension with DID,
10001 - 40832423301- CiscoPhone- with VM enabled
10002- - 40843677702 -Cisco  Phone- with VM enabled.

One Hunt pilot- 2 - 40822212355;we created hunt list and line group and
associate above two phones.

when customer dials huntpilot DID (4082221255)  from PSTN, It  rings  all
phones (SET AS BROADCAST).
BUT WHEN ALL PHONES ARE BUSY OR NOT ANSWER , IT SHOULD GO TO BOTH PHONE VM
MAILBOX. SO THAT EACH USER CAN ACCESS THIS VOICE MESSAGE.
We are using Microsoft exchange 2007 integrated with CUCM 7.1.3 FOR UNIFIED
VOICE MESSAGING.
how can we achieve this so that both users within this hunt group should
recieve voice message if they are busy or not answering.

when i call trigger number it plays the welcome message and after that
remains on Queue.it does not ring any one.
Cisco phone are logged in(Cisco extension 33xxx /IPCC extension 38xxx)
CAD is login and in ready state

86405,(00971-481-86405), called number displays as  8186405.in debug isdn
q931
We have already selected 5 significant digit.but phone is not ringing.even
i am hearing ring back tone.

and when we make outgoing pstn call from same ip phone 86405 ,it does not
show any logs in Debug isdn q931.

Note-isdn bind l3 ccm manager is there.

I have my extension, 8843,registered to callmanager express, forwarded to
1515.As of today when someone calls my extension and it switches over to
1717, they get a fast busy.  changed the forwarding to manual and tried
1515 and the tollfree number but not working..

we one dial peer as


dial-peer voice 100 pots

description  Helpdesk

destination-pattern 1515$

port 0/0/0:23

prefix 18553978543 --this is toll free number.



when user dial 1717, it rings toll freee number correctly,but when user
sets call forwarding to 1515 at cisco phone extn 8810 and some user dials
8810,it gets fast busy /reorder tone.

is any more config required???

i have done settings
1.Enable System-wide notification. Complete these steps:

a.Choose Voice Mail  Message Notification  Notification Administration.

b.Check the Enable system-wide notification forcheckbox and set for
All Messages.

c.Check the box to allow a user to log in to the voice mailbox to
retrieve voice-mail messages after notification.

d.Check the box to send voice messages as .wav file attachments to
email notification messages.

2.Go to System Domain name Settingsand set your domain name
(mycompany.com) and the DNS server(if you have DNS server).

3.Go to System  SMTP Settings and set your SMTP server address, as
well as any authentication if needed.

Note: Sending notifications to a subscriber's e-mail or text messages

configured, the system will not send the e-mail notifications.

4.Go to Configure  User choose the user and check the Enable
notification for this user box at bottom of the screen.

5.Enable the E-mail Notifification under Configure  User 
Notification tab and click on email inbox. Perform these steps:

a.Enter the email address to which the notifications should be sent in
the To: (Email address) field.

b.Enter a subject text for the email.

c.Check the box to Enable notification to this device.

d.Check the box to Attach voice message to email notification messages.

e.Set the Notification preference as All Messages

f.Set up the Notification schedule, these are the hours 00:00 AM to 12:00 AM
that e-mails will be sent.

We have same extension range of 65XX both in Location A as well as in
Location B. For dialing Location B extension we use prefix 81 .
For dialling  Location A extension  we use prefix 80 .
Location A to Location B-- 8065XX
Location B to Location A-  8165XX
Now the problem is if we want to assign voicemail to the user then
only one user can avail the facility.
For example :-
In Loation A, the extension number 5811 is for user A
 In Location B the etension 5811  is for User B.
Now we can only assign the voice mail to only one user.

What is the solution...

we are using centralized cluster at HQ.when wan link goes down,
 the remote site router comes in srst mode then in that case ip phone
registered to SRST.will these phones will use the license of CUCM DLU
in case of wan failure
