Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Calling to PSTN-WAN remote Zone

2011-02-28 Thread Kalyan iyer
Hi Jay,

Looks like your call is going from HQ --- GK --- PSTN-WAN and it is
getting to the PSTN-WAN router.

Can you please do a debug voip dialpeer on the PSTN-WAN router?

Thanks
Kalyan

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Calling to PSTN-WAN remote Zone

2011-02-26 Thread George Goglidze
Hi Jay,

If the CUBE is a requierement, you're missing this then:

 zone remote PSTN-WAN ipexpert.com 10.10.100.2 1719 outvia VGK

The configuration that you have right now, is alright, with only difference
that the call would not go through CUBE it would be directly between CCM and
a remote gatekeeper.

Clarify what are the requierements.
As I said, if CUBE is NOT requiered, then paste the debugs from PSTN
Gatekeeper, something must be wrong there, if it is requiered then put the
command I said initially.

Regards,

2011/2/26 Ki Wi kiwi.vo...@gmail.com

Just saw this. At the outbound dialpeer back to gk. Maybe you can try to
manipulate the called number? Provided you know the exact number to be sent
 to GK.

2011-02-25 Thread George Goglidze
can you put same debugs on PSTN-WAN router???
deb h225 asn1
deb gatekeeper main 10

I know it will not be allowed on a real exam, but I think in this case there
is something wrong there.
As you are sending LRQ message to the Remote GK, but you are not receiving
any answer from it.

Did you solve this?

If not, can you also post your CUBE configuration? It ooks to me that your
CUBE was failing outbound calls to PSTN-WAN.

Why do you have zone prefix PSTN-WAN 91* in the gatekeeper config ?

Is it a requirement to use cube to pstn-wan ? Looks like your cube doesn't have
route.

I tried cube. You need to have a inbound dialpeer to accept the call and a
outbound dialpeer back to gatekeeper.

I know it will not be allowed on a real exam, but I think in this case there
 is something wrong there.
As you are sending LRQ message to the Remote GK, but you are not receiving
 any answer from it.

I had this same issue. Finally, noticed my PSTN RTR was missing a num-exp to
allow the called number to match the line DN. Just added one and it worked.
 Couldn’t find another solution.

Just saw this. At the outbound dialpeer back to gk. Maybe you can try to
manipulate the called number? Provided you know the exact number to be sent to
GK.

I had this same issue. Finally, noticed my PSTN RTR was missing a num-exp to
allow the called number to match the line DN. Just added one and it worked.
Couldn’t find another solution.

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Calling to PSTN-WAN remote Zone

2011-02-22 Thread John Frame
I had this same issue. Finally, noticed my PSTN RTR was missing a num-exp to
allow the called number to match the line DN. Just added one and it worked.
Couldn't find another solution.
