[OSL | CCIE_Voice] Proctor Labs site

2011-10-01 Thread Larry Stern
Before I contact proctor labs tech support, is anyone else having extremely
slow service on proctor labs site. Possibly all the racks are in use after
being blocked out during the two week boot camp period and everyone is logging
on at once? But I never saw it this slow.

It shouldn't matter provided, in the example provided, each MRG contains
only resources of the specified type. Precedence for a MRG within an MRGL
should only come into play if your MRG's contain the same types of
 resources.

 Dear All,

If we have to configure MTP,Xcoder,hd_Conference in the HQ site then we
will configure 3 MRG MTP_MRG,Xcoder_MRG,conf_MRG after that we will create
MRGL for hd_hq_MRGL but now what is correct order for MRG inside the MRGL

No need for 3 mrgs. Create one mrg and put all 3 resources into it. Order
doesnt matter since those resources are of different types.

 Hi

I have investigated further into this issue, and I think I may have found
 the reason for this.

As the MOH server is setup with 1 hop limit with the multicast setting, and
the HQ router/GW is only 1 hop away, so the moh stream from CUCM can reach
to the loopback address of the HQ router within 1 hop. But correct me if I
am wrong, that could be the reason why the moh stream from CUCM can reach
 PSTN caller.

So my question is, is there a way to make the HQ loopback more than 1 hop
 away?

 Thanks

Hey maybe you were always getting unicast. so you might want to check that
 on the H323 gateway.

You always do the same IP as the CUCM is, so for CUCM set as ip it would be
239.1.1.1 by default for G711 on the first
