Dear Colleagues, A postdoctoral position is available at Rutgers University, New Jersey Medical School, USA.
This position will focus on the role of the Mre11 complex in DNA double-strand break repair and ATM activation. The project uses biochemical methods in combination with genetic and structural approaches. We are looking for a highly-motivated individual who meets the qualification below • Strong experience in biochemical experiments, including protein purification and in vitro reconstitution • Expertise or keen Interest in combining genetic approaches with protein structure studies, such as cryo-EM imaging or software analysis • Ph.D. in biochemistry-related disciplines An electron microscope is being installed in our building. Our institute is a 45 min train ride and walk from the Manhattan New York Penn station.
