A postdoc position is available in Prof. Constance Jeffery's lab at the University of Illinois at Chicago, starting immediately or within the next few months. While an experienced crystallographer would be strongly preferred, someone with experience in protein expression, purification, and biochemical/biophysical characterization would also be considered. The initial appointment is short-term (approximately 6 months), but might be extended if additional funding or a postdoc fellowship can be obtained. The previous postdoc in the Jeffery lab obtained a tenure-track position and a CAREER award and is now a tenured associate professor!
