The Murray Laboratory University of California, Davis Department of Chemistry Postdoctoral Opportunity Position Title: Postdoctoral Researcher Location: UC Davis, One Shields Avenue, Davis California 95616 USA The Murray Laboratory at the University of California, Davis <https://murraylab.ucdavis.edu/>, is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral associate to start immediately. The candidate will use state of the art biophysical methods to investigate protein structure and dynamics underlying the molecular mechanisms of: (1) the functional and pathogenic biomolecular condensation of mRNA binding proteins, and (2) the self-assembly and regulation of cell cytoskeleton proteins. Expertise in biological NMR, cryo-electron microscopy, and/or advanced biochemical and molecular biology methods is preferred. The position is NIH-funded, and the applicant will have access to well-equipped core facilities for solution and solid state NMR, and electron microscopy. Davis California is ideally situated midway between the relaxing wilderness of Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada mountains and the vibrant biotechnology hub of the San Francisco Bay Area.
