What about to do a cartesian morphing with the mutated
residue added (or removed) atoms having initial ( or final) coordinates
taken from previous common atom?
Will work? Coloring may be a factor... but with a manual
editing perhaps...

i am solving a structure with four molecules in asymmetric unit. Initially i
was refining the structure with four fold NCS, which now i have removed. i
have picked some of the water molecules after removing the NCS. now i m
facing the problem of assigning these water molecules to
