We are seeking two postdoctoral researchers to join our efforts at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab in Berkeley, CA, to better understand reaction mechanisms of several important metalloenzymes. We are using XFELs for time resolved room temperature crystallography in combination with X-ray spectroscopy and develop new methods for reaction triggering, sample delivery and data processing. Projects can involve protein biochemistry and crystallization, metalloenzyme X-ray spectroscopy, methods and instrumentation development depending on the interests of the candidates.
