[ccp4bb] Rpim and how its related to anomalous signal

2012-09-18 Thread Vijayakumar.B
Dear CCP4BB users, I am very much interested to work in Anomalous scattering technique for macromolecular structure determination. I have already gone through some literature in which they have explained about a parameter called “*Rpim*”. I am little bit confused about *Rpim *values. Can anyon

[ccp4bb] Orientation of the crystal and it importance in data collection

2012-10-26 Thread Vijayakumar.B
Dear CCP4BB users, I have some basic questions in the data collection. Please give me some ideas to get clear in this part. 1)Why orientation of the crystal is importance? 2)If we mounted the crystal in arbitrary, what it leads? 3)How to find out crystal misseting angels in the

[ccp4bb] Mosaicity and anomalous signal

2012-10-28 Thread Vijayakumar.B
Dear Folks, I have collected 360 image anomalous data in home source and integrated using automar. These images that show the mosaicity value is 0.05. But, mosaicity value 0.073 has shown when i integrated the 1-180 images data. Why 180 image data mosaicity value is higher than 360 image? and an
