Dear all,

A post-doctoral position is available for a researcher with significant
experience in
biochemistry, protein purification and structural biology in the in the lab of
Susan Chan and Philippe Kastner at the Institute of Genetics and of Molecular
and Cellular Biology (IGBMC) in Illkirch (Strasburg, France).

The aim of the lab is to understand how transcriptional regulators
shape complex developmental decisions and how deregulation of their expression
contributes to diseases of the hematopoietic system.
The work will be carried out in close collaboration with the Department of
Integrated Structural Biology (Isabelle Billas and Bruno Klaholz).

The post is for 12 months in first instance, with possibility of extension up
to 3 years.

Candidates should have a PhD, or be close to obtaining their doctoral degree,
and be
committed to an academic career. Curriculum vitae and contacts for three
references
should be sent to s...@igbmc.fr<mailto:s...@igbmc.fr>.

The Institut de Génétique et de Biologie Moléculaire et Cellulaire is a major
center of
biomedical research in Europe. The institute's goal is to develop
multi-disciplinary
research at the interface of biology, biochemistry, physics and medicine. It
attracts a
large international group of students and post-docs, and the working language is
english.

The successful candidate will be offered a package according to a grid
established by
the IGBMC, which will depend on the level of education and experience.
