Dear Christine, Dear Colleagues,
John Westbrook was a greatly valued and effective member of IUCr ComCifs, the
Diffraction Data Deposition Working Group and its successor CommDat and as a
Coeditor on IUCr Journals. The Obituary shows even more just how extensive his
contributions were to our
John D. Westbrook Jr. (1957-2021), Research Professor at Rutgers University and
Data & Software Architect Lead for the RCSB PDB, passed away on October 18,
2021.
