The Call for proposals for Jan-Dec 2018 is now opened for the XALOC
beamline at the ALBA synchrotron.**Deadline: *September 7th*, 2017,
23:59 (Barcelona Time)
You might be interested to know that XALOC will have the following
upgrades for 2018:
* Unipuck support and fast sample exchange (due 2nd half of 2017)
* Kappa goniometer installed: improved algotirhms for reorientation of
crystals of any reflection along the rotation axis (currently
implemented)
* In situ diffraction: raster scans on plates (currently implemented)
* Liq N2 shower on the crystal (due 2nd half of 2017)
* He chamber for low energy phasing (and increased flux up to 2.1
Angstrom) (under production)
* Control of crystal humidity to improve crystal diffraction (to be
installed in 2018)
