Started work on putting together a couple of VAX6000. 4x0 and 5x0. Looking for
spare XMI, VAXBI, Cab kits DSSI,Ethernet,CI, Storage arrays, spare regulators
etc. Will travel the Northeast for larger items. Also Engineering drawings as
the ones on Bitsavers are really hard to read.
Thanks,Brian.
If anybody is interested in building Jorge Hoppe's Uniprobe, I have some PCB's
available. I made a few extra to keep the price down. Price is $40 ea shipped
in the CONUS. These have Silver fingers rather than Gold but should still hold
up well. Build information is on Retrocomp.

I could not find it in my DEC maintenance aids handbook.
I would agree that it is definitely for multi platter drives.

I have a CDC BK6XX BK7XX Maintenance manual Vol 2 available.If anyone has an

Hello,
I have just about all the pieces I need to start work on getting at least one
of my RK07's running. I found cables, terminators and cab kit but still need to
find an RK611. I have just a few things I could trade.
A very nice PDP11 labeled header panel for a DEC rack.No broken ears and

Looks like a great idea but the reviews say otherwise. Dangerous even. I found

Now I just need to match the color from a paint chip.

Has anyone ever found a source for aerosol spray cans that are a close matchto
the colors that DEC used on their cases and such? I remember seeing
touch up colors mentioned in the past. Specifically the ivory/almond colorof
VT100's, DECservers, etc.

I just acquired an RK07 drive and disk packs. I am looking for the 5 Unibus
boards and back plane to add to my 11/84.

Thanks Matt, I did have the netrtg040.a file but it was corrupted. The one on
the TU58 tape worked perfectly and I was finally able to install DECnet. The
network does come up but goes right down with a synchronizing error. It's
always something it seems. Should be all set once I get that
Hello,I have a current hobbyists license for OpenVMS 7.3 and a handful of
simulated VAXen. I wanted to add my simulated 11/780 and 11/782 to my DECnet
and wondered if there was a (legal of course) license workaround to install
networking on an older version such as 4.4. The current PAKS will
