I recently acquired a HP 9825 and have a project planned that will need

would be interested in visiting about it.
Thanks,

Yep, recognized it. Just shows to go you, very few new stories out there.
It's all about character development and CGI.

Fred's dissertation on time for MSDOS code in CP/M was a fantastic giggle.

Okay so I'm trying again, as the Classiccmp software is not letting my
post through with the correct name of the subject computer included in the

My D#CM@TE II has begun behaving very strangely.
The computers began to develop keyboard issues a few weeks ago, which

Hello all,
I've got a Decmate II that has a keyboard issue. I've tested with a LK401
that I use with my Rainbow 100 system, keyboard works fine with the Rainbow
but gives a error 48 with the Decmate. I've had a look at the motherboard,
tracing pins 14 & 15 from the db15 connector to a series of

Just picked up a Decmate 2 and have managed to get a monitor, keyboard and
boot disk (I think) setup for it, but when I attempt to boot it, I'm
getting alternating error codes 17 and 19(on different boot attempts).
I've searched and found some of the startup error codes but not these

I'm pretty sure that the Sun Blade 100 uses IDE, one of the cheap IDE to CF
cards from ebay would likely work there. I've usually bought these in bulk
and have been less than picky (other than price☺) about these and have not
had any issues.
The SCSI to CF have always been a bit spendy for my
Hi Tony,
Yes that was top of 1st things to do list, was make an extension cable.
I've double checked that I have +5v, -5v and 12v on the cpu board side of
the plug. Yes I left the i/o cables unplugged. The cpu board actually is
pretty well kept, didn't notice any corrosion or physical damage.
I recently picked up an HP 9815s ( was originally an 'a' model but was
upgraded with an 's' cpu board and the option 002 i/o long before me), that
displays the "---" when turned on. I've scrounged through
Google and learned that this particular display is generated by the display
I'm trying to get a response from the gentleman, I'd like to try to pick
it up.

Just acquired an HP 9826/36, that needs a couple of keyboard switches and
keycaps, specifically the EXECUTE switch and the ")" switch.
Does anyone have these or a spare keyboard they'd care to sell?
I can live with the ) key missing as the switch is sheared at the + only
and otherwise operates

I've got some pins that appear to be the right size from when I was making
battery packs (electric R/C) that I plan to solder to the resistor with a
little bit of heat shrink on each leg to keep from starting fires or other
exciting things from happening. A sorta kludge. I remember using these
