Good enough--I can write the manufacturer for a replacement set without sounding like an idiot. I seem to have inherited the box where all the spare parts were tossed. Lots of brackets that I have no idea what function they perform. The HP PDU was shipped with 10 power strips; which is about 6 too many. Thanks, Chuck

Oh wow! Yes, I may have some of these laying around somewhere. I will look, it might be a few days. I have some Chabin TLC cables that have been cut from the paddle boards. I also have 4 of the SLT-style connectors sawed off of the some paddle boards. Those are quite dirty. I don't know if any of this is of any use to you. But, the contacts inside the connectors might be helpful in reverse-engineering them. Jon

I just picked one up and am eager to see if I can use it to read/burn 1702As, something that has been an issue for me for a while now. Reading them is pretty easy. BURNING them is crazy. They need an 80 V power supply, and I think you XOR the address or something as you apply the programming voltage. Jon

Keys for startech 25U server rack
I dropped by the local e-waste recycler and picked up a Startech 25U server rack for $100. (This one: https://cdn.cnetcontent.com/75/26/75261816-2cf3-43e9-a0b3-1e63752d781e.pdf). Heavy bugger, complete with glass door. I was as surprised as the guy who helped me load it to find that it barely fit in a Gen2 Prius (I left the truck at home). It came with an HP EO4500 PDU, with all 4 power strips (I have no use for this, so if you do, drop me a line. Maybe we can work out something). They also tossed in all of the bags of unused parts. But--no keys! Do all Startech Duraracks use the same key? Anyone know? --Chuck

If he goes for it, it will greatly increase the odds that *cough* anyone else will make an offer on the rest of it. Especially if he'll throw in the Silent 700 and its stand, and the input card that looks like it belongs with the 960s. I wonder if it may be asking too much to include the 11/34 as well. Certainly clear him some space, though. More room for more liquid merch, I'd think.
MSI 6800 EPROM Software
Hi there, A longshot I'm sure - but I am wondering if anyone familiar with MSI (Midwest Scentific - SS50 bus system) would happen to have a copy of the software for their 1702A EPROM burner, I think the model is PR-1. I just picked one up and am eager to see if I can use it to read/burn 1702As, something that has been an issue for me for a while now. Many thanks, Brad

I see what looks like CRU bus proto boards amidst either spares or the contents of 960 chassis. I do see at least 1 drive of some kind. The racks are nice. Also see DEC, Arete, and AT gear in there as well, among other things, some unremarkable, like Dell P4 mobos. This is the seller that wants a grand for the 733 ASR, right? For its "Apple 1" keyboard? Maybe they want $7K here because of the 3b1's keyboard. You'd really have to go see the stuff to get a better idea of what the seller has and what shape it's in, to make some kind of reasonable offer. Hopefully somebody local could do that, if the seller is agreeable. Thanks, jbdigriz
