Hi Pontus,
I looked at my limited function front panels, and they were 54-11507s. I
have not looked at any prints. Where did you find the 54-11165 number?
Could it be for a Q-bus system?
The 50-X is the etched PCB. DEC usually added a 1 to that number to
make it complete board.
Thanks, Paul
I have a few of the limited function and programmers panels. I do not
recall either of them being dependent on particular backplane. I'll try to
pull a few a few later and check the part number on them.
Remember, a 54-X number can become a 70-X with the addition of a
cable or something

The good old days...
I recall the Q-7 drums would take about 15 minutes to come to a stop when
turned off, and would power up in seven seconds or less. Surge current was
around 115 amps?

Hi Alan,
I just found an Emulex book that shows the SC02, SC04, and SC12 as
supporting DEC RL drives. They show a model "L" for the RL drives. I'm
guessing different ROMS.
I'm sure DILOG and others companies made them, but I haven't found my DILOG
book yet.
I know people who have used them,
a cover from a UPS?

There are probably no perfect answers to this problem. I am looking for
opinions, not criticism. I do not want to start arguments, nor get anyone
here, especially Jay, pissed off.
I found a stack of DEC microfiche a few nights ago. It's probably about 12
inches tall, and contains PM Procedures,
Several list members have asked me about RL cables, etc. I have finally
gone through most of them. If anyone needs any parts, please contact me off
list.
Thanks, Paul

Hi Doug,
It might be cheaper to get a BA11-N and use them. The BA11-M panels are
very difficult to find,

Hi Bill,
If you have tried new media and the problem is on both drives, I have the
M7744 and M7745 boards for $75 each and will throw in the cable between
them. Shipping is $10 within the US.
Thanks, Paul

I have well over 100, maybe 200 DEC compatible boards which I have no plans
to use. Maybe 20 or so EMULEX, DILOG, ADAC, DATA TRANSLATIONS, and dozens
or other manufacturers. Also the ones that have no company name on them.
They range from a few PDP-8 boards, to Q-bus. Unibus, to VAX.
