initial cost is you can't take road trips in them (except for Tesla). Otherwise they make ideal commuter cars assuming you have a place to charge at home or at work. . It was part of a ClassIC which is an 8/a with RX-01 and VT terminal of some type in a desk with a chair. This one had the daisy wheel printer and a DECwriter. I have not looked closely at the printer mechanism. The DECwriter is in pretty bad shape but I have the 8/a and RX-01 running (mostly). The original desk and chair are going to be refurbished next. Alternatively assembling the diag on the restoration project would have yielded a working multiply.
